Main sponsorship

Skandia has a long association with major sailing sponsorship worldwide. Sailing has a character and culture that matches ours making it a great fit for our brand.

Our support of sailing in the UK started in 1995 with title sponsorship of Cowes Week and today includes the sponsorship of the British Sailing Team, Skandia Team GBR. Complimenting our sponsorship of the team, we are personal sponsors to Olympic medallists Iain Percy and teammate Andrew Simpson, Bryony Shaw and Olympic hopeful Giles Scott.

Skandia also sponsors the Skandia Sail for Gold Regatta in September, and our most recent campaign is the Ellen MacArthur Trust voyage of discovery.
